¡Mamá, ya sé hacer plátanos fritos!

Mom, now I know how to do fried bananas!

Welcome to the new section of my blog! Because being a feminist literary and travel blog where we also talk abour series and movies and fanfiction and whatever comes out of my mind wasn't enough. We have a cooking version! So you can learn how to cook stuff, like desserts or simple stuff.

Nivel: Fácil. (Demasiado fácil)
Receta Vegetariana.

Level: Easy (really fucking easy).
Vegetarian Recipee.

Ingredientes:

Ingredients:

OK. Little stop here. I cook with cultivated Musa balbisiana, that in the Spanish wikipedia has its coloquial name (I googled to si if it had any translation at all), but in English they asume is wild bananas everytime and they assume you don't eat it if you have cultivated bananas. Let's shut up some bullshit: WE DO EAT THAT KIND OF BANANAS AND WE ACTUALLY CULTIVATE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE TASTY THAN THE OTHERS.
1 (or 2) bananas. Depending on the side.
oil (vegetal oil, preferably, avoid soy and mustard because the bananas taste weird).
sugar (optional)

Instrucciones:

Instructions:

1. Put the oil in a pan. Put enough because this is fried. Here's the picture of how much oil I use for one banana because I don't put a lot, also. As an option, although is not common, you can put sugar so the bananas become a litlle crystalized at the end. It's not the usual, but it works.

Ok, ok, hacen pedacitos.

2. Cut the banana in small pieces. I hope everyone here knows how to use a knife. And if not, CAREFUL: IT CUTS STUFF! Ok, you cut the banana in pieces.

3. Put the pieces of banana in the pan. First make sure the oil is already heated and, if it's ready, you put the bananas. Careful, sometimes the oil attacks you, but it is a bitch, so you never know when it's going to happen. (Or maybe is just my son of a bitch oil).

4. Cuidas los plátanos. QUE NO SE HAGAN CARBÓN.

4. Look after the bananas. DON'T LET THEM BURN.

5. When they're ready, or they look like the ones below, put them away of the pan and with a napkin, quit the excess of oil. Don't let them in tha napkin, otherwise they're going to paste and I doubt you want to eat paper.

6. ¡Disfruten!

6. Enjoy!

Note: with another types of banana, the results may vary, sometimes because they melt a little. I used to do fried bananas in India and I needed tons of sugar and they always looked pale and melted, but tasty.
